eye twitching?

I was at the ER today but got no where. they gave me phenergan for nausea and toradol for the head ache that I have and have had since yesterday. I know tht it is called blephoraspam i am in med school, but i have not yet graduated and i am not diagnosing myself. I went becasuse my head was pounding and I was extremly dizzy and uncoordinated. I had a CT scan and it was normal too.The ER MD was not impressed with the eye spasms and the dizzyness yet sent me hoime and said to followup with my MD on monday, tommorow, my eye is still blinking like crazy and my head ache is very prominant and painful. Please help me understand this. I just want to feel normal.

Hi JustAGurlYou dont need to know the diagnose, but decide to heal yourself mentally and physically. Here is what I would do.a. Find a stress release outlet. Plenty of them out there.
b. drink a gallon of distilled water a day
c. Visualize, Feel, and say you are healthy! And mean it!
d. Nutrition can heal all ailments if you give it a chance.
e. This is a sign you're not balanced in certain part of your life and it sounds like stress. You know how this affects people, so take charge or your health and you'll have the greatest freedom of them all. Best of health to you
I have the same problem.in fact today my eye started twitching also. I have a history of migranes. Usually when my eye starts twitching that means I am headed for a big migrane. So I start treating it right away. They say that the blephoraspam is caused by stress and not getting enough sleep but for me it is kinda like a warning that the migrane is coming. I have a script for toradol that i take when it gets bad but if I can catch it when it is in the early stages, Excedrine migrane works fine. I hope this helps.in the mean time relax in a dark room and if possible get some rest.
I used to get this eye twitching and dull nagging headaches while I was at Uni. I too had CT scans which showed nothing abnormal. Try to get some serious relaxation... aromatherapy massage. relaxation tank... what ever works for you.Good luck
